|Tigers in the Gorge|
signed by 24 Flying Tigers
|Military Aviation Art
It is May, 1942, and the Flying Tigers of the AVG have been absorbed into the USAAF. The Japanese are driving the Americans and British out of Burma, and the P-40's of the Flying Tigers are called upon to slow them down.
At the Salween River Gorge, they blew the bridge and prevented the Japs from rebuilding it, thereby saving Kunming, and paving the way for the Allies re-entry into Burma.
