Hundred Club Me-109G's and La-7's over Lake Balaton, Hungary. A club of two, consisting of Erich Hartmann and Gerhard Barhorn, of aces with 300 kills. Only on the Eastern Front, only with the Luftwaffe, and only against the Russians. The La-7, which got much less publicity that the YAK, was one of Russia's finest fighters. |
