The Omaha

The Omaha was a sturdy and dependable boat, built in Madison, Indiana.  She traveled the Missouri River for ten years, her regular route being the 771 miles between St. Louis and Sioux City, Iowa.
She is shown here, tied up at night, replenishing her supply of firewood.
