The Escape
When my Great-great-great Grandmother was raising kids and corn in Pennsylvania, a neighbor would stand on the next hilltop and scream that the Indians were coming.  She would gather the kids, put them on the milk cow, and take them to the nearest fort.  She had no other help, as her husband was in the Army.
Thus, I exist so I can pay taxes.
