The Dambusters
Mick Martin's Lancaster pulls away from the Mohne Dam his, "Upkeep" bomb exploding behind him sending a huge plume of water into the air. Guy Gibson flies to his right drawing flak from the anti aircraft guns on the towers.
This Australian Group's task was to destroy the vital dams providing power to the Ruhr River industrial complex.  After dropping their bombs, the aircraft would "run empty" alongside their comrades to draw fire.  They suffered very heavy casualties.
