The Conspiracy
Outside the British outpost on Lake Michigan, called Fort Michilimackinac, in the year of 1763, the Indian leader called Pontiac meant no good.  The Brits wouldn't give him the presents he expected, so he decided to kill them all.  Shown here is the plan to take the fort.  Play a game of LaCrosse, get the garrison involved, roll the ball inside the fort, and chase after it.  When your conspiritors are inside, kill every one you see.  It worked well, and began the war between the French-Indian War and the Revolution, called "Pontiac's Conspiracy".
Go there today.  The fort has been reconstructed and makes an excellent trip.
The mosquitoes are just as authentic and numerous as they were in 1763.  But a little bear fat makes everything OK.  Seriously, an excellent reason to go to the Great Lakes.
