| Military Aviation Art B-24's of the 489th Bomb Group were sent to destroy the rail marshaling yards at Bielefeld in Germany. They were very surprised to see the Messersmidt Me-262's over the target. P-47's were escorting the Group, and no losses were recorded on either side. |
