Novel Concept The Mistel. In this case, an FW-190 (manned) strapped to a Ju-88 bomber, unmanned, but packed with high explosive. The fighter would jettison the bomber, then a rudimentary guidance system would guide the thing toward the target. Amazingly, the pilots didn't get paid extra for this kind of thing. |
