Schuck was a Luftwaffe Ace, based in Finland, who ended the war with 206
confirmed kills. He is shown here on a particularly day. Protecting a German supply convoy off the north coast of Norway, he ran across a flight of Red Air Force Boston's. (The Boston was a very good light bomber, built by Glenn Martin, in Baltimore, Maryland. The Russians got them through Lend Lease.) Schuck shot down seven of the attackers, in his Me-109, and was awarded the Knight's Cross. |
