A small party of mounted and dismounted dragoons are responding to an alarm at an advanced outpost. Unlike most British troops their undress uniform consisted of short blue round jackets in place of the traditional red. Armed with carbines and rifles they present a formidable and determined foe to any patriots who might cross their path.
